How to Join Battle of the Bars
"To participate in Battle of the Bars, you have two options: either select a participating venue from the list below or gather a group of friends or family to play from the comfort of your home.
Our live hosting takes place every Wednesday at 8:45 PM, with registration opening at 8:30 PM. To join the fun, simply purchase a game pass for just €10, which covers a full team (typically 4 players). Once your payment is complete, the system will seamlessly transition you into the game. Please be patient during this process to avoid any interruptions between payment and gameplay.
The next step involves registering your team details, including your team name, the venue you are playing from, and a contact number. It's crucial to use the same contact number you provided during your online payment. This ensures that teams using a different contact number than the one in our payment system won't access the quiz for free and will be removed from the game if detected.
Game Play:
We will engage in three rounds, each comprising 25 questions. These rounds encompass various question types, including multiple-choice, direct questions, numerical queries, and even picture and audio challenges.
Following each round, we'll take a ten-minute break, allowing bars to serve their patrons, and attendees to utilize restroom facilities or take a cigarette break if needed. During these breaks, the live host may provide insights on the previous round and give shout-outs to random teams.
Our estimated finish time is around 10:30 PM after a total of 75 questions.
